Chandrababu Naidu Takes Charge As Andhra Pradesh CM At Amaravati Secretariat

Marking the start of his administration, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu began his tenure with a prayer ceremony at the Secretariat in Amaravati.

Chandrababu Naidu, after being sworn in for the fourth time as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, officially took charge at his office in the Amaravati Secretariat at 4:41 PM on Thursday. Naidu began his tenure with a prayer ceremony at the Secretariat, marking the start of his administration.

Ahead of taking charge, TDP supporters give a grand welcome to CM Chandrababu Naidu.

On his way to the secretariat, Amaravati farmers showered flower petals on the Chief Minister and chanted "Jai Babu" as his convoy passed through the city.

 
 

 

Upon assuming office, Naidu is expected to approve five key documents, including the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) notification, the repeal of the Land Titling Act introduced by the previous administration, an increase in social security pensions, a skills census in Andhra Pradesh to enhance employment opportunities for the youth, and the revival of Anna Canteens (subsidized food canteens).

'Purification Of Governance From Tirumala': Chandrababu Naidu

Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu along with his family members including TDP leader Nara Lokesh visited Tirumala temple in Tirupati. After visiting Tirumala Temple, Chandrababu Naidu said, "I have never seen such success given by the people of the state. People's rule has started in the state... I prayed for this state's prosperity. Economic disparities need to be removed in the state... From today, good governance begins.  I will fulfil the trust you have placed in me. By 2047, the Telugu people will be number one in the world. I will make Andhra Pradesh the number one state in the country. Crime will not be tolerated... Political conspiracies will not be tolerated.  We will protect the good and punish the bad."

"I will start the purification of governance from Tirumala," the CM said.
