Andhra Pradesh: Six-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped, Raped In Narsipatnam
The girl's parents spotted her unconscious and bleeding heavily.
Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a neighbour when she and her elder sister went out to the fields on Thursday night. The incident happened at Narsipatnam police station limits in the Anakapalle district. When the girl's sister informed her parents that the six-year-old had been kidnapped, they began looking for her. The girl's parents spotted her unconscious and bleeding heavily. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
According to a report by ABP Desam, the accused Sai Kumar, a 20-year-old man, on seeing the girl going to the fields, went and grabbed her. He took her to a remote place nearby and allegedly raped her. The girl's parents complained to the police seeking severe punishment for the accused.
"We have formed three teams to nab the accused. The girl is undergoing treatment at the hospital where her condition is said to be stable," The Times Of India quoted ASP Narsipatnam, V Manikanta, as saying.

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Taneti Vanitha spoke with the authorities about the Anakapalle incident. The minister directed the higher authorities to take strict action against the accused. Anakapalle SP informed the Home Minister that the accused is still absconding and three teams have been formed to nab him.
The Home Minister also directed the health officials to provide better treatment to the victim and warned that anyone who commits atrocities against children and women would face severe consequences.
