After the explosion, workers of GMFC Pharma ran out in panic
A reactor exploded at GMFC labs private limited in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalli district on Tuesday and for safety reasons nearby factories were shut down. Upon knowing about the incident, three fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire is under control now and one person died.
After the explosion, workers of GMFC Pharma ran out in panic. The incident was reported in Anakapalli district of Ramballi Mandal. According to SP Gouthami Sali, one died on the spot. Anakapalli District fire officer Lakshman Swami said, "A rector was blasted at GFMC labs Private limited. Immediately three fire tenders were rushed to the spot."

Earlier on January 27, in an explosion at a plastic material shredding unit on the outskirts of Kadiri in Sri Satya Sai district, one person died and five others sustained injuries.
The deceased was identified as Subhash Mahto, 30. Two of the five injured were shifted to a hospital. Three people including a man and two women sustained minor injuries. They hail from Kadiri. The accident occurred when five people were working on the plastic shredding machine.
Evidence has been collected from the accident site. A case has been registered.
