Facing Financial Hardship, Ace Sprinter Dutee Chand Forced To Sell Her BMW Car To Continue Training For Olympics

She said that securing a sponsorship for Olympics has become a challenging task. She said she has expended all her saving and her earning in the past few months, ever since coronavirus outbreak, has been nil.

New Delhi: Apparently things have gone financially downhill for India’s ace sprinter Dutee Chand, who now wants to sell her luxury car to manage her expenses and bear the cost to continue her training for Olympics. All those events which are largely dependent on gathering and team participation, stand cancelled due to this unforeseen pandemic. Due to lack of sponsorship and no competitions taking place, selling the luxury car she once bought with excitement, is the only option left with Chand, reports quoted her as saying. She said that securing a sponsorship for Olympics has become a challenging task. She said she has expended all her saving and her earning in the past few months, ever since coronavirus outbreak, has been nil. It is to be noted that her only sponsorship which is Puma, is expiring in the month of December. Expressing hope, Dutee said that if he wins again and earns a good sum of money, she will again buy a luxury car, but right now it is the need of the hour for her. Also Watch:
