Trump heaps praises on news channel for suspending investigative journalist
Washington DC [USA], Dec 3 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump has heaped praises on ABC News for suspending the chief investigative journalist over an erroneous report about former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
"Congratulations to @ABC News for suspending Brian Ross for his horrendously inaccurate and dishonest report on the Russia, Russia, Russia Witch Hunt. More Networks and "papers" should do the same with their Fake News!," Trump tweeted.

ABC's Brian Ross, during a live "special report" on Friday, citing a single anonymous source, reported Flynn would testify that Trump had ordered him to make contact with Russians about foreign policy while Trump was still a candidate.
Later in day, ABC News issued a "clarification" to Ross' report, saying that Trump's alleged directive came post he'd been elected president.
However, it drew backlash from conservatives and media figures for not calling it a "correction."
Ross himself appeared on 'World News Tonight' several hours after the initial report to clarify his error.
The network, in a statement, said, "We deeply regret and apologise for the serious error we made yesterday. The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process." (ANI)
