Suicide bomb attack at Afghanistan's Bagram Airbase leaves three injured

Bagram [Afghnaistan], Sept 6 (ANI): Three civilians were injured in a suicide bomb attack at the southern gate of Bagram Airbase in Parwan province on Wednesday evening.

Tolo News quoted Afghanistan's Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish as saying that the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber riding a motorbike.

According to the reports, Taliban has reportedly claimed responsibility for the explosion.

The blast comes hours after a senior US commander in Afghanistan apologised for a leaflet distributed by distributed by US forces in Parwan, which offended Afghan Muslims. (ANI)
