New Delhi [India], Jul 3 (ANI): A rapper, who was performing at the Arkansas nightclub where 28 people were injured in a shooting incident, has been arrested on unrelated charges.

Ricky Hampton, aka Finese 2 Tymes, was the headlining artist at the Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock, Arkansas on the night of the shooting.

The Little Rock police tweeted, "Ricky Hampton 'Finese 2 Tymes' was arrested for his outstanding warrants out of Forest City. No arrests have been made in the mass shooting."

According to CBS News, the U.S. Marshal Service said that the 25-year-old rapper from Memphis, Tennessee and another man were arrested at the Side Effects Club in Birmingham, where Hampton was performing another gig.

The Marshal Service added that the men were arrested on a "fugitive from justice" warrant.

Hampton was performing at the Power Ultra Lounge when gunfire broke out early Sunday. Twenty-five people between the ages of 16 and 35 suffered gunshot wounds and three others were hurt.

Following the shooting, Hampton wrote in a Facebook post, "Prayers go to the innocent people and there family that came out to support me, last night in Little Rock Ark. The violence is not for the club people. We all come with 1 motive at the end of the day, and that's to have fun." (ANI)
