Yamuna crosses 'warning mark', flood alert in Delhi
The Yamuna river on Monday crossed the "warning mark" of 204.50 meters and was set to breach the "danger mark" of 205.33m in the evening, forcing authorities to ask people living in low-lying areas to evacuate to safer places.
A union Home Ministry spokesman said the river's water level was expected to cross the danger level around 6 p.m., inundating areas along its banks.
