Watch graphically Bihar train derailment
At least seven people were killed and 27 others injured when 11 coaches of the Delhi-bound Seemanchal Express derailed on Sunday in Bihar's Vaishali district, officials said.
Railway Ministry spokesperson Smita Vats Sharma told IANS: "Eleven coaches of the Seemanchal Express derailed at 3.58 a.m. near the Sahadai Bujurg station."In another tweet, the Office said that the Minister was in touch with Railway Board members and General Manager East Central Railway regarding the accident.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi condoled the deaths.
