Uma Bharti to not contest the upcoming LS polls in 2019
Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Uma Bharti on Tuesday announced to take a break from active politics to focus on the issue of Ram temple and cleaning of Ganges River. She also said that she would not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
Bharti said "I would only work for the Ram temple and Ganga for the next one and a half years".
