It's the first Monday of 'Sawan' month and the entire nation is engagaed in early morning prayers and seeking the blessings of Lord Shiv. Devotees flocked Ujjian's famous Mahakal Temple to offer prayers. They offered prayers to Lord Shiva. The Shravan month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is considered quite auspicious. People queue up in front of temples since 5 in the morning.
