Triple Talaq Bill was never sent to select committee in UPA regime: Prakash Javadekar

Replying to opposition's allegations that Triple Talaq Bill was hurridly passed in Rajya Sabha, union minister Prakash Javadekar said that during UPA regime, the bill was never sent to select committee. 
Are we delivering pizzas or passing legislation, TMC MP Derek O'Brien wondered on Wednesday, continuing his attack on the government over the speed with which bills have been passed this Parliament session.
