PV Sindhu's elated parents say, 'now she can relish ice-cream with PM Modi'
Indian badminton player PV Sindhu defeated China's He Bing Jiao for the bronze medal in Badminton women’s singles on Saturday. Sindhu created history by becoming India’s most successful women Olympian and only the fourth shutter in women’s singles to medal at consecutive Olympics. Sharing their excitement Sindhu's parents jokingly said that 'she can now relish ice cream with PM Modi'. Her father PV Ramana, also revealed that Sindhu was disappointed after the semi-finals defeat, but they encouraged her.
