India's Aman Sehrawat has won a bronze medal in wrestling, triumphing in the men's 57 kg category. He secured a decisive victory over the Puerto Rican wrestler with a score of 13-5, bringing glory to India. This marks India's sixth medal at the Paris Olympics, including one silver and five bronze medals. Notably, Aman was the only male wrestler representing India at the 2024 Olympic Games. In his Olympic debut, he made history by clinching the bronze medal. In the bronze medal match, the Puerto Rican wrestler initially took the lead, but Aman Sehrawat made a strong comeback, ending the first round ahead with a 4-3 score. In the second round, Aman dominated, forcing his opponent to his knees. Ultimately, the 21-year-old Indian wrestler won the match 13-5.
