Sawan's first Monday: Offer prayers to Jyotirlinga Baba Vishwanath

The auspicious Shravan month has commenced from today, July 30. It's the first Monday of 'Sawan' month and the entire nation is engagaed in early morning prayers and seeking the blessings of Lord Shiv. Take a look at the visual from Madhya Pradesh, where the devotees offered early morning prayers at Ujjain's Mahakal temple on the first Monday of 'Sawan' month.
Devotees flocked Ujjian's famous Mahakal Temple to offer prayers. They offered prayers to Lord Shiva. The Shravan month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is considered quite auspicious. People queue up in front of temples since 5 in the morning.
The whole month is considered auspicious to seek blessing of Lord Shiva. Devotees keep various fasts during Shravan month to please Lord Shiva.
