Rebel leaders, a reason behind less seats of alliance: Ramdas Athawale
Ramdas Bandu Athawale is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He is the president of the Republican Party of India. Currently, he is Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in the Narendra Modi government, and represents Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament. The BJP and it ally Shiv Sena are continuing to surge in Maharastra with leads on 99 and 60 assembly constituencies, respectively, as counting of votes is underway, according to official trends of Election Commission (EC).
