Rainfall causes landslide on Gangotri national highway in Uttarkashi

A major landslide occurred on Gangotri national highway in Uttarkashi. This led to hault on the movement in the area. To give respite to the commuters, the traffic was diverted.
From July 1 till date, Uttarakhand has recorded 133.2 mm of rains against the normal of 264.3 mm.
