PM Narendra Modi Never Asked Trump To Mediate On Kashmir Issue

India on Monday declined US President Donald Trump's offer to mediate on the Kashmir issue and clarified that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had never made such a request to him regarding the matter, and stressed that all outstanding issues with Pakistan are "discussed only bilaterally". US President Donald Trump during his meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan at the White House, offered to be the "mediator" between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. He further said that he is ready to help, if the two countries ask for it.
