PM Modi Returns To India After Week-Long US Trip

After concluding his week long trip to the United States to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned home to a rousing welcome by party leaders, workers and supporters at the Palam Airport in the national capital on Saturday evening. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president JP Nadda was also present at the airport to receive the prime minister. Soon after landing here, PM Modi was felicitated at an event organised outside Palam Technical Airport.

"I want to thank you all for coming in large numbers. This has been a memorable welcome back home. On this occasion, I bow to each and every Indian," said PM Modi while addressing the massive crowd that came to welcome him. BJP planned a grand welcome to PM Modi with the Delhi unit of the party organising a cultural programme at the airport.
