PM Modi, Rahul to offer prayers to Lord Shiva today; Who will get blessings for 2019?
Congress President Rahul Gandhi is likely to undertake the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in the first week of September and will reportedly leave today for the journey through the China route.
Earlier, Gandhi had desired to undertake the Yatra during Karnataka assembly elections and had announced it at the party's 'Jan Aakrosh Rally' at Ramleela maidan on April 29. In keeping with his promise, the Congress chief is likely to take this path.
Sources say that his office has already applied to the External Affairs Ministry for undertaking the pilgrimage.
On the other hand, PM Modi too will offer prayers to Lord Shiva today. Here is the schedule of the Prime Minister for today:
8:10 to 9:25 – Meet with Thailand’s Prime Minister
9:45- Group photograph session with the leaders of the BIMSETC countries
10:45- Signing of Kathmandu Declaration
2:45-3:45- Bilateral talks with Nepal PM Oli
4: 15- Inauguration of Pashupatinath Dharmshala
5:45- Leave for Delhi
