A plane crashed during takeoff in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The aircraft, operated by Saurya Airlines, was carrying 19 people, including the crew. According to the Kathmandu Post, the crash occurred at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday. The plane was en route to Pokhara when it went down around 11 AM. Authorities, including police and fire department personnel, are conducting rescue operations at the site. The area is shrouded in smoke following the incident. Although there have been no confirmed reports of fatalities yet, images from the scene show thick smoke rising from the wreckage. The situation remains under active investigation as emergency services work to manage the aftermath.
