Breaking News: Major Plane Crash in Brazil, Flight Carrying 62 Passengers Plummets to the Ground

A passenger plane has crashed in São Paulo, Brazil, with 62 people on board. According to local media reports, a video of the incident has surfaced, showing the aircraft descending rapidly from the sky before violently crashing into the ground with a loud explosion. The exact number of casualties is still unknown. CNN reports that the aircraft involved in the crash was VOEPASS Flight 2283-PS-VPB, operated by Brazil's regional airline VOEPASS. According to an airline statement, the flight had 58 passengers and 4 crew members on board at the time of the crash. The accident occurred in a residential area. Data from FlightRadar24 indicates that the VOEPASS plane departed from Cascavel and was en route to São Paulo when its signal disappeared shortly before 1:30 PM local time. The current status of those onboard and the cause of the crash remain unclear.
