Use of stone crusher and hot mix plant banned for two days in Delhi
Keeping in mind the deteriorating situation in Delhi because of pollution it has been decided by the government to seize up the stone crusher and hot mix plant foe two days. Air Quality Index is severe in Delhi-NCR. The AQI in Delhi has reached upto 480. While in Noida and Ghaziabad the Air Quality Index is 614 and 584 respectively.
The odd-even scheme aims to curb the number of cars on roads and to limit the pollution caused by them. It is applicable in Delhi from Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. with violation of the scheme attracting a penalty of Rs 4,000.
