UP News: Youths Arrested for Raising Slogans During Muharram Procession in Amethi | ABP News

A case of objectionable sloganeering during the Muharram procession has come to light in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. After which a controversy has arisen. On Sunday evening, right in front of the Musafirkhana police station of the district, some youths involved in the Muharram procession raised objectionable slogans, after which the police have registered a case under Section 302 and 35(2) of the Indian Code of Criminal Procedure 2023. The police have started investigating the matter. So far six have been arrested in this case.

The video of this incident is also going viral on social media. In the viral video, many youths can be seen in black kurta in the Muharram procession. In which these youths are seen raising controversial slogans. There is tension in the area after this incident. At the same time, the police has taken cognizance of the matter and registered a case. Police say that the video is being investigated.
