Rajya Sabha MP Sonal Mansingh demands capital punishment for rape accused

Rajya Sabha MP Sonal Mansingh while talking to ABP News said that there is no other punishment than capital punishment for rape accused.
She said, "If I talk about such culprits and demand hanging them, then people will crack down on me."
Though the safety instructions are welcome, the 'suggestions' are nothing that girls and women don't already know. Besides, the Hyderabad police needs to address the laxity of its force in not being proactive and taking missing complaints seriously. 
Opposition members in the Lok Sabha led by the Congress on Monday raised the gang-rape and murder of a young woman veterinary doctor in Hyderabad with Speaker Om Birla advising them to take up the matter in Zero Hour.
