Petrol-Diesel Price Row: Why Congress-ruled states are not slashing VAT, asks BJP

A day after big cuts in petrol and diesel prices following Centre and states reducing taxes, fuel prices remained unchanged on Friday under the daily price revision mechanism followed by oil marketing companies.

BJP in a press conference asked why Congress-ruled states are not slashing VAT.
