Nirbhaya Gangrape case: Mercy petition of convict reaches Home Ministry

Union Home Ministry has received the mercy petition of Vinay Sharma, who is one of the convicts in Nirbhaya gangrape case. Now it will be sent to Rashtrapati Bhavan soon. Out of all the convicts lodged in Tihar Jail, Vinay Sharma had filed a mercy petition in front of the President. The copy of which was sent to the Delhi government. Recently, the Delhi government refused to give any relief to Vinay Sharma.
