Videos showing IAS officer Nidhi Nivedita, posted as district collector of Rajgarh, slapping an unruly protester in Madhya Pradesh, and deputy collector Priya Verma indulging in a street fight earlier, went viral on Sunday. The incidents have triggered a political debate in the state. Nivedita slapped the protester during a pro-CAA rally, which was in place despite section 144 imposed in the area.
