The police and rescue operations in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, have been working tirelessly to evacuate people from villages near the Karam river, where the dam under construction broke down due to leakage in the construction of the dam. The reason for leakage in the dam is unknown and still investigated by police and the construction company which was given the project of building the dam.
