Jahangirpuri News: Most roads shut post bulldozer action | ABP News

After the demolition drive that NDMC conducted on Wednesday, many locals of Jahangirpuri are angry and helpless. They were irked that their properties were destroyed without any proper notice beforehand.
In this report, ABP News was on ground zero and witnessed heavy deployment of forces even today. Most roads were shut and properly barricaded too

BACKGROUND
Chaos took place in Jahangirpuri during Hanuman Jayanti procession when two groups created ruckus which led to stone-pelting, sloganeering and more. Post this, several probe teams were formed to investigate the issue properly.
On Wednesday, North MCD took an action against illegal constructions here. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation removed temporary encroachments from the area in the presence of heavy police force.
