Intl Yoga Day | ITBP Jawans perform Yoga Asanas amid adverse weather conditions in Muguthang: Muguthang (Sikkim) June 21 (ANI): ITBP Jawans on June 21 performed Yoga Asanas amid adverse weather conditions in Sikkim’s Muguthang on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2024. The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated worldwide annually on June 21 since 2015, after PM Modi's proposal to dedicate a day to celebrate the ancient Indian fitness routine was formally accepted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Prime Minister Narendra Modi did yoga at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC) in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on International Yoga Day. Earlier, while addressing the people, he said that today the number of people doing yoga is continuously increasing all over the world, the attraction towards yoga is increasing. .
