West Bengal Elections: This is how Covid took 'monstrous' turn | India Chahta Hai
Anticipating the increasing demand for oxygen in the coming day due to the steep rise of Covid in the state, the state health department has asked all the government hospitals to demarcate land for developing oxygen plant within the hospital premises so that the hospitals can become self-sufficient and negotiate their demand for oxygen and not depend on outside help.
Welcoming the Madras HC observation, Banerjee said, "The Election Commission cannot ignore the fact that it is responsible for this huge upsurge in Covid cases in the country. It brought 2 lakh police personnel from outside, and none of them have gone through Covid test".
