Weather: Heavy Rain Expected In East-UP, Red Alert In Various Regions Of Country Today | ABP News

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday morning took information about the situation from Commissioner Deepak Rawat regarding heavy rains and waterlogging in Kumaon division and gave necessary instructions. Commissioner Deepak Rawat said that NDRF and SDRF teams have been deployed in vulnerable flood and landslide areas in Kumaon and the district administration is standing ready in those districts where there is a possibility of landslides and floods. After heavy rains in the hilly areas and rising water level of rivers, there is a danger of flood in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Keeping this in mind, 11 battalions of NDRF based in Varanasi have made complete preparations to save 42 districts from floods. Keeping in mind the possible threats of rain and disaster, on the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh government, flood relief agencies in Uttar Pradesh have been fully alerted.
