Venkaiah Naidu rejects no-confidence motion against RS Deputy Chairman
Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu has rejected the No-Confidence Motion which was being moved by the opposition leaders against the Deputy Chairman Harivansh. Naidu said that the motion was not permissible as per rules. Naidu told the house that he had received a letter from 46 opposition members alleging violation of parliamentary procedures.
"It was a bad day for Rajya Sabha. MPs should introspect," Naidu added.
