Union Home Minister Amit Shah Attacks INDIA Alliance Leaders, Ignites Controversy | ABP News
In a scathing attack during the BJP's Maharashtra convention, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, and Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray together. Shah accused Sharad Pawar of being a symbol of political corruption, alleging, "Pawar sahab is creating new illusions. Whenever the BJP government comes to Maharashtra, the Maratha community gets reservation. Whenever Sharad Pawar's government comes, Maratha reservation ends. Sharad Pawar is the biggest symbol of corruption in Indian politics. He has institutionalized corruption in politics and spreads illusions to win elections." Turning to Uddhav Thackeray, Shah asserted, "The security of the country cannot be guaranteed by the Aurangzeb fan club. Uddhav Thackeray is a leader of the Aurangzeb fan club. He sits in the lap of PFI supporters, sits in the lap of those who call Zakir Naik the Messenger of Peace. Uddhav Thackeray should be ashamed." Shah also predicted a downfall for Rahul Gandhi in the coming days, saying, "Rahul Gandhi's arrogance will shatter into pieces." The remarks by Amit Shah underscored the BJP's aggressive stance against its political rivals in Maharashtra ahead of upcoming elections.
