Understand the chronology of Corona spread in Punjab from Maharashtra

More than 3500 pilgrims were stuck in Nanded amid lockdown as they had gone to offer prayers at Hazur Sahib Gurudwara. And now out of these 3500 pilgrims, nine have been found Coronavirus positive. Six out of the infected pilgrims hail from Tarn Taran whereas the other three belong to Kapurthala district.
The government is mulling over conducting COVID-19 tests of all 3500 pilgrims.

It was Harsimrat Kaur Badal who penned a letter to Home Ministry seeking the return of pilgrims to Punjab. After that 90 buses were sent for the same purpose
