Thick fog covers Kolkata; causes low visibility, delays flights

A thick sheet of fog covered Kolkata and hence there was very low visibility at the airport. This is why the many flights could not take off as per the schedule. On the other hand, landing of multiple flights has been delayed too

Earlier on Monday morning, Delhi and NCR witnessed thick fog leading to low visibility on the road.
