Nisarga was not as severe as it is right now when it erupted in Arabian sea. The storm was just a cyclonic one at 11 pm on Tuesday. The storm became severe around 2 am on Wednesday. Gradually the storm intensified and now it is headed towards Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.
