Sujit Pandey takes charge as Lucknow Police commissioner

First Police Commissioner of Lucknow, Sujeet Pandey, took charge today. He received Guard of Honour and then he entered his office to begin work. While talking to ABP News he said that this step by Yogi Adityanath government would help improve policing. "Smart and professional policing will be our goal. There will be a judicious mix of modern and conventional policing," he added. The UP government had on Monday approved the commissionerate system of policing in Lucknow and Noida.
