Southern Rising Summit: What is the Future of Politics in India... Coalition Government or Two-Party Dominance?

At the Southern Rising Summit session titled "Bipolar or Multipolar - The Politics of Tomorrow," both BJP and Congress leaders criticized the BRS, accusing former CM KCR of prioritizing family interests over public welfare. Telangana BJP Secretary and Medak MP Raghunandan Rao Madhavaneni stated that only BJP and Congress would remain viable by the 2029 elections. He remarked, “KCR rebranded his party from TRS to BRS, but people gave them CRS [Compulsory Retirement Scheme].” Telangana Congress leader Madhu Goud Yaskhi agreed, accusing BRS of arrogance and family rule, adding, “They even removed ‘Telangana’ from their name. People don’t want autocratic rule; I don’t see a bright future for them.”
