Shivaji Maharaj Statue Falls, CM Shinde Holds Major Meeting at Official Residence | ABP News
The Maharashtra government has formed a technical committee to investigate the reasons behind the fall of the statue of Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire, in Malwan, coastal Konkan. The committee includes engineers, IIT experts, and naval officers. A press release from the Chief Minister's Office issued after midnight stated that the government has established this committee to create a grand statue fitting the warrior king's legacy. Earlier, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde presided over a meeting at his official residence, Varsha, in South Mumbai with senior ministers, bureaucrats, and naval officers. The decision to form the committee was made following this meeting.
