Shimla: Mother and infant daughter drown in an accident

A tragic incident took place near Simla when a mother was waiting with her 9 month old daughter for a vehicle. The infant slipped from her arms and fell into a nearby river. The mother than jumped in the river to save her daughter. However, the body of mother was later recovered downstream. The whereabouts of the infant are currently unknown.
