At ABP's Shikhar Sammelan 2024, Union Minister and Bihar's young leader Chirag Paswan commented on various issues, stating, "During Kanwar Yatra, I raised objections despite being part of the alliance. In a coalition, we have the freedom to voice concerns on any issue. Unfortunately, the coalition lacked an inclusive development perspective, a sentiment also echoed by the Supreme Court's ban on certain practices." Paswan supported the BJP's budget allocation and criticised the INDIA Bloc, claiming the opposition is frustrated and confused due to the lack of loopholes in the Union Budget 2024. On July 24, Union Minister Paswan discussed topics ranging from the budget and reservations to the NEET paper leak, asserting that the budget addresses the needs of farmers, women, and the middle class, and is designed to advance common people.
