Shame on those giving Rs 500, Maulana Rashidi on pension scheme

The Yogi government in UP has announced to give an annual pension of Rs 6,000 per year to Muslim women who have been given triple talaq by their husbands. Maulana Sajid Rashidi has slammed the government for giving a paltry amount through this scheme. He even compared the scheme to giving half chapati to a person who is hungry. He added that if the government should provide a pension of at least Rs 25-30K and those giving Rs 500 in the name of the scheme should be ashamed.
