Schools across the country have opened amid the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. Many parents said that the children should now go to schools for their mental as well as physical growth. According to data published on Monday by the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 3,06,064 new Coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,95,43,328, with active cases reaching 22,49,335, the most in 241 days. According to figures updated at 8 a.m., the death toll has risen to 4,89,848 with 439 new fatalities.
