SC imposes fine of Re 1 on Prashant Bhushan for committing contempt
In case of default, Prashant Bhushan will be barred from practising for 3 years and will be imprisoned of 3 months. Supreme Court bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra read out the judgement with respect to the sentencing of lawyer Prashant Bhushan in the contempt case against him. The top court asked Bhushan during the arguments why is he so averse to apologize for the tweets.
