Ruckus at Kerala assembly; Opposition MLAs block Governor's way
Congress-led opposition blocked the path of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan as he arrived in the State Assembly for the budget session, and raised slogans against him. The protesters were forcefully removed by the watch and ward staff, making way for the Governor to read out his address to the assembly. Khan along with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Speaker P. Sreeramakrishnan and State Parliamentary Affairs Minister A.K. Balan and others were stopped in the well of the House by UDF MLAs.
