One faction has demanded Sukhbir Badal's resignation. In Jalandhar, a meeting was held under the leadership of party leader Prem Singh Chandumajra, during which an appeal was made for party president Sukhbir Singh Badal to resign.

Chandumajra stated that Sukhbir Badal should step down in accordance with the sentiments of the party workers. He mentioned that the meeting focused on discussing the reasons behind the party's weakened support base and emphasized the need for change within the party.
