Republic Tv named in fake TRP racket by Mumbai Police Commissioner

Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh made a shocking disclosure on Thursday, claiming that three channels were collecting fake TRPs for themselves by paying money. The police commissioner claimed that the scam involved Republic TV and two smaller Marathi channels.

The Commissioner said, "Our crime branch has detected a racket which is linked to fake TRPs. He informed that the owners of Fakt Marathi and box cinema have been arrested.
