Rajya Sabha adjourned till March 11 after Delhi violence uproar

Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday adjourned the House till March 11 following continuous disruptions by opposition members who demanded a discussion on the Delhi violence in February. However, the warning was ignored by opposition members who kept on sloganeering. The Chairman then adjourned the House till 11 am on March 11. This is the fifth day in a row when the Upper House of Parliament could not transact any business due to the opposition uproar.
